| Friday:Neko neko wai!
Got up and dressed up in my Spike Spiegel gear. Went to get my badge and I
had this cool necklace to hang it on. This is the first really cool looking badge ive had
for a con, all the ones ive had so far are like cards wrapped in plastic, but these were
all laminated and nice lookin *ohhhhh*. Anyway, I was wandering the con.. and what do I
see? Dance Dance Revolution in a window into the video game room.. so what do I think? "Aw
man gotta show off my mad freestyle skillz to these newbs!" It was funny to press
up against the glass and just act like idiots while playing and stuff. ANYWHO, I go in,
play a little bit. I met a guy named Tim who reads Megatokyo. Introduced him to DDR and he
went to the dealers room and bought a pad right after! Dude if you read this, e-mail me! Ill hook you up with 4th mix! Anyway,
after the mandatory DDR, I wandered s'more and ran into Nee-chan! That girl rules! We hung
out with each other and wandered around the dealer's room.. picked me up a set of these
wicked X glasses(drinking glasses). Sugoi yo! Still in the dealers room..what do I notice?
The desk of a store called Pandora's Cube, import gaming! hellz yeah! They were selling
japanese PS2s, but I didnt get one becuase they sold out of Para Para Paradise and the
controllers.... oh well.. next time, they get my business...maybe... Then as I was
harassing the guys s'more... who else but sweety Anna-chan! *huggles* So we started
hanging out together and I also me Trowa Al and super cute Stella! They rule! Hopefully
next con i see them at ill have a few Para Paras down... itll be cool. Rest of the day was
just hanging around with them, playing games, ran into Loki and Crazy Bee! Played DDR with
them and had a nice competition with Amy. Why is it that me, Amy, and Carolina have this
whole competition thing going on? When I first met them we were playing Air Hockey at AWA
and givin' each other the beatdown... Ah well. ^_^v Rest of the day was mainly me running
around! like a mad man, hanging with Lindze and Candy, taking pictures, and hanging out in
the lobby attempting to break dance and sitting on the couch talking. At around 2 or 3 oh
my god, me and Anna walked around the parking lot for a little while and guess what we
saw? An Akina Speed Stars decal! On a Nisson SX something-or-other.. manual! Oh God that
was cool! Loki! I hope your pictures turned out ok! Then we got back cuz it started
raining and talkde til about 6 when the cafe opened up... got me some Chocolate milk and
went to sleep in Anna's room....
Saturday:Mwahaha, I beat'im without glowsticks!
Hmm, Saturday, after camping out in front of the cafe, getting my milk
after it opened. Me and Anna went to bed at around 6:30 am or so.. Woke up a little later
around 10 or 11 because of an alarm clock that rudely awakened us...sheesh.. stupid alarm
clocks. We all got our showers and stuff, and I got in my Serge costume! Stella also
helped paint my hair blue, much thanks to her. But it was pretty cool, most of the
beginning of the day was just hanging out in the main area of the lobby. COSP ML pictures
were taken, then ACP, and Codename:Cos-Men(yeah the guys rule!). I think my Serge costume
was recieved well, most people seemed to like it, and I got to meet this super cute Kid
cosplayer. ^_^ She was really nice.... anywho.. Most of the day was just mingling and
farting around, watching Gabi and Anna-chan take pictures pulling swords out of
themselves... then being beat up by Chocolate and Tira since Carrot wasn't there...
heehee. ^-^v I will be as much of a pimp as Ollie.... someday... *Sigh* ANYWHO, I sat in
on some panels, namely Iron Chef. I skipped the cosplay.. because.. well.. I just dont
like con cosplays anymore, they suck. So what do we do? MEATCON 2! YEAHHHHH! We all
trekked over to Andy's house, Norm brought his DDR ! stuff, so we all busted a move while
the burgers cooked. It was a good time Ill tell ya. Me and Mappy did our Afronova routine,
the rest of it was basically watching cool ass videos and old school Mtv while chatting it
up with cool people, and karaoke, I gotta go to the next one!
After coming back from Meatcon it was about 11:00..*gasp* DDR TOURNAMENT TIME! Myself,
Mappyman, Loki, and Bee all rushed to get into the video game room in time. It was a good
competition, mostly style with some score thrown it. The winner was this one kid who did
Dam Dariram on stealth backwards! That was insane! Then Norm got 2nd place with his crazy
Wonderland double routine! Then.. oh gee.. get this I GOT 3RD with a totally made up
freestyle to AM-3P.
After DDR we all got some Glowsticks and hung around the dance a bit,
busted a move, and just sat out in the lobby busting out Para Para style having our own
little party in the lobby.. it was SCHWEET. Myself, Mappy, Stella, and Albert were all
bustin out Night Of Fire, was awesome.
After that, we went searching for parties, Dommi-chan!(of course) She was
celebrating her 21st birthday! Congratulations! Unfortunately the stupid hotel rent-a-cops
busted it up! Dommi was 21 even and they wouldnt let her drink and shit. That was weaaaak.
Stupid rent-a-cops were probobly hired so that NOONE would have a stinking
iota of FUN...grrr... After all the parties were busted out, I went back downstairs and
hung out at the dance s'more, met some people. There was this one stupid kid who just rode
the elevators for 3 HOURS.....WHY? Arr... I digress... There was this one crazy guy trying
to hold a rave in a corner someplace, it was a good idea, but got busted up by the rent a
cops. So we found a room that they held panels in and basically got in and had one there,
some cool trance was goin on and the alcohol flowed freely, also got myself 2 kickin'
glowsticks from the cool guy putting it together.
After that I sat on one of the couches and it was me, anna, ollie and some
other people just chillin it out and just talking. After that it was some last minute DDR,
that guy was cool, keeping the room open and stuff.. until about 3 am when he took it all
away. Migrated to the lobby... Chilled some more, but we just started taking some wacko
pics of us acting like Zombies and harassing the cafe staff, until 6 when it opened, got
me some more milk, then we went to bed again..
Sunday: Goodbye, Farewell, blah blah blah yakety smakety.
Yeah, we woke up and got dressed. Mostly Sunday was me buying last minute
things from the dealers room(initial D stuff of course). Then just hanging out in the
Lobby with some people, playing game boy advance. DDR for Gameboy Color looks neat. But
yeah, just me taking last minute pictures and talking and having fun jumping off sh*t. I
also ran around getting my goodbye hugs and pics with people I probobly wont see again in
a long time. *sniff* Ill miss you guys. Finally around 2 I had to go.. that really
sucked....But it was a long journey home, but I didnt have to drive it! Mwa-ha!
